I'm just your average guy, software developer by day, prepper by night and I am on a constant quest to find information and learn and much as I possibly can. There's a lot of information out on the internet, some good, some not so good and everything in between. There are blogs, videos, podcasts, and it's hard to keep track of it all. I want to bring it all together into one place.
What to Expect and Goals:
I want to bring the best content all to one place and can easily be searched, so that anyone can come along and research topics and find what they are looking for. I want to be one of the top community driven prepper websites out there with nothing but the best discussions. We can be a place for new preppers just starting out and a place for well seasoned preppers to take their preps to the next level. Quality content/discussions and learning/teaching are our top priorities.
Want to Contribute?
Do you have something that you would like to contribute to The Prepper Times?
Well, now is your chance. As the TPT prepper community grows and expands, it has become obvious to me that this is more than a one person job and I need all the help I can get. So if you have a video, write up, product review, how to, or just want to talk about what's going on in the world, send it my way and I'll get it up here. I understand that not everyone has the time or ability to tend to a blog full time and one person doesn't have all the skills necessary to cover all the possible topics that come up when prepping is involved. Getting many people involved means I can provide the best and most well rounded information out there. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses and prepping isn't a one person job.
Oh and in case I didn't mention it, if you submit original content for The Prepper Times, you will get something in return. If you're interested now, head on over here and I'll tell you more about it.
It takes a team, a community that needs to stick together because you never know what's going to happen. The great thing about prepping is that it brings a diverse group of people together and that is my main goal here. Whether you are into hunting, gardening, farming, living off-grid, aquaponics, guns, first-aid, zombies, or you just some nut job wearing a tin-foil hat paranoid that the government is slipping mind control drugs into the water supply (well, maybe not that), you have the skills and knowledge that someone else is looking to learn more about. The whole point of prepping is to be ready for anything, to be more self-reliant and self-sufficient.
